Our partnership with Ascot Racecourse launched at Royal Ascot in 2021, spurred on by a world-class Equine team and our founder David Howden’s love of horses.
And this year we are celebrating 30 years of making amazing things possible for our clients, communities and colleagues. We’ve grown from three brokers (and a dog) to a truly global business, with 18,000 employees and serving more than 100 territories.
Why Howden?
Like Ascot, we have a proud British heritage and an international reach. Horse racing is a sport we love, and an industry with which we have strong ties. Our relationship with Ascot offers our Equine, Bloodstock, and Sport & Entertainment teams even more direct connections with the sporting industry.
We’re also involved with equestrian communities across the board, from partnering with the Pony Club and British Carriage Driving to sponsoring major meetings in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Australia.
Championing sport at all levels
Last year we became Principal Partner of The British & Irish Lions. This partnership will see us as the front-of-shirt sponsor for the men’s tour to Australia in 2025, as well as backing community-level activities via the Lions Origin Clubs and Schools, where every Lions started their rugby journey.
We are also proud to be the series title sponsor of the inaugural women's tour, the Howden British & Irish Lions Women’s Series, in 2027. Women's rugby is on an upward trajectory, and we're here to support this momentous occasion.
